Linda Peters

Linda Wilde Peters, affectionately known as Beebee or Grammy by her grandkids, passed away at the age of 75 at her home in Stamford, CT surrounded by family. Linda is survived by her husband John T Peters, daughter Virginia T Venditti and husband Steve, son Logan M Peters and wife Madeline, and three grandchildren, sister Marilynn Wilde, brother Lt. Col. Linn E Wilde, and sister Jan Wilde Rose. Linda enjoyed many years as a flight attendant with TWA traveling to 49 of the 50 states. She left flying to work with John on his growing classic car business, Sports and Classics Inc. More than anything this move allowed her to have the flexibility to be the one thing she always wanted to be, a mom. Linda was the type of mom you wished for. She was kind, loving, understanding and extremely funny. She could bring any stuffed animal to life and bake all the goodies you could wish for. She was not only a mom to her own children, but to many others who saw her as a "second mom". Linda was selfless, she put just about everyone ahead of herself, always wanting the best for her family and friends. She was also witty and known for her one-liners. Her charm and positivity were her superpowers. With them she was accepted into the University of Hawaii without ever applying, could get you into a busy restaurant without a reservation and secure bank loans with talk of classic cars and a smile. She loved her two children and was proud of them as they grew and had families of their own. She supported them through life’s challenges and always had her way of improving the situation with humor. She also enjoyed seeing her grandchildren in person and nightly on FaceTime. Linda also truly loved and appreciated John, as he did her. Especially as day-to-day activities grew increasingly difficult, John did his best to care for Linda as she had always cared for him. Church was a large part of Linda’s life and the group of close friends she developed over the years is irreplaceable. She spent many years with the choir and added her special touch decorating tables with flowers and flare for church events. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Michael J.
