Dylan Estrada

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dylan Rojas Estrada, who left this world on February 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime. Born on May 26, 2001, Dylan was the beloved son of Carlos Rojas Serrano and Maria de Jesus Estrada Martinez. He was a proud Mexican whose heritage was an important part of who he was. He carried himself with humility, strength, and a dignity that reflected both his upbringing and his roots. Dylan was humble and down to earth, the kind of person who never needed attention to make a difference. He had a steady presence that made those around him feel safe and protected. He never had to say much to let you know he had your back; you simply felt it. He attended Port Chester High School, where he formed lasting friendships and left an impression on those who knew him. He later made his home in Stamford, where he continued to build his life surrounded by the people he loved. As a brother, in his own way, he was a protector in every sense. He made sure his people were good, always keeping it firm, always standing guard in his own quiet way. If you were part of his circle, you never had to question his loyalty. He gave that protection freely, and he did it all with a genuine smile on his face, a smile that could calm a room, lift spirits, and remind everyone that things would be okay. Even during his battle with cancer, Dylan showed remarkable courage. He faced each challenge with resilience and the same grounded spirit that defined his life. His strength was never loud, but it was powerful. He thought of others, even when he was the one fighting the hardest battle. Dylan leaves behind his loving father and mother, and a family who loved him deeply, along with friends who will forever cherish his presence, his laughter, and the way he made them feel valued. Though we grieve his loss, we are grateful for the time we had, for his love, his loyalty, and the quiet lessons he taught us about strength and humility. Family and friends are invited to attend a wake on Friday, February 20th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Parish 566 Elm, Street, Stamford, CT. His legacy continues to live on in the way he showed us how to stand strong, stay humble, protect our people, and face life with a smile. He will be missed beyond words and remembered beyond measure.
