It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fedner Baltazar, who peacefully passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on April 15, 1937, in Haiti, Fedner’s life was a beautiful journey of love, faith, and resilience. His warm spirit, generosity, and devotion to his family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In 1964, Fedner married his beloved Marie Maude, and together they spent over 60 years building a life full of love, joy, and partnership. Their marriage was the heart of their family, and Fedner’s unwavering dedication to his wife and children will remain an enduring legacy. Fedner lived in Venezuela during the 1970s and 1980s, where he worked hard to provide for his family. In 1992, he immigrated to the United States, where he continued his hard work and commitment to building a better life for his loved ones. Fedner had a passion for life. He loved to dance, often bringing joy and warmth to those around him with his moves. Going to the movies was another of his favorite pastimes, and he found joy in stories that connected people. Driving, too, was something he loved, whether for the practical purpose of traveling or simply for the pleasure of being on the road. Fedner was the proud father of five children: Edwin, Wolf, Sherly, Daril, and Joanne. He was also blessed to have welcomed his in-law children: Chairmaine, Pierre, and Tamarra into the family with open arms. Fedner’s love extended to his grandchildren: Jerome, Shantell, Natasha, Arianna, Sedar, Abigail, Olivia, Ashlee, Brianna, Joshua, Keila, Leah, and Loyissa, as well as his great-grandchildren: Kai, Ava, Addalyn, Karter, and Roman. Fedner is survived by his brother, Carlos, and many nieces and nephews, each of whom he loved deeply. His family was his greatest pride, and he leaves behind a lasting legacy in each of them. A man of deep faith, kindness, and warmth, Fedner will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the love he shared with everyone around him. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. To honor and celebrate Fedner’s life, the following services will be held. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, January 24th at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9am on Saturday January 25th at The Church of St Cecilia, 1185 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Avenue, Darien, CT.
