Glenn A. Nadin

Glenn A. Nadin, passed away with family by his side on Wednesday June 20, 2018. Glenn was born on April 18, 1949 in Norwalk CT to the late George and Mary (Tavella) Nadin. Glenn was a loving and giving man whose faith and family came before anything. He was completely devoted to his wife Lynda and his only desire in life was to make her happy. His devotion to his immediate family was evident in all that he did. The void that he leaves behind can never be filled but the memory of his devotion and love will live on with those who hold him deep in their hearts. His career at Westmore Fuel Company of Greenwich CT spanned over 30 years as service manager. He had great love devotion to the Bologna family. Glenn was a member of The Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist Church, and extremely active at the Adoration Chapel at St. John Fisher Seminary. Surviving are his wife Lynda DelVecchio Nadin, sister in-law Margaret Capalbo and her husband Richard, brother in-law Ralph DelVecchio and his wife Phyllis, his devoted and loving nieces Francesca Meyer and her husband Andy and daughter Wren, Ashley Capalbo and her fiancé Hudson Woodward. Glenn is also survived by his two daughters, Melissa Messner and husband David and Meredith Briganti; His brother George Nadin and wife Pauline of Belmont, NH, along with his three grandchildren Jordan, Kirsten, and Nicholas; and two nephews, Ralph DelVecchio Jr. and Joseph DelVecchio. Glenn is predeceased by his son Kevin Nadin. Family will receive relatives and friends at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue in Stamford on Monday, June 25th from 4pm to 8pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26th at 10am at The Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist Church, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT. Interment will immediately follow mass at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue in Norwalk, CT. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. John Fisher Seminary Residence, 894 Newfield Ave., Stamford, CT 06905. Also, with heartfelt appreciation and immense gratitude to Judy Badia nurse manager 6th floor oncology Stamford Hospital and to the most dedicated, loving, professional, nurses and all the clinical assistants who cared for Glenn with their whole heart and soul.
