In Loving Memory of Helena Toczek Helena Toczek, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved daughter of Maria and Marian Palac of Przemyśl, passed away on February 16, 2024 at Stamford Hospital. Helena was born on September 24, 1947, in Bachórz, Poland, she grew up in her beloved city of Przemyśl and later resided in the town of Kęty. At the age of 44, she courageously emigrated to the United States with her then husband Franciszek and her children Paweł and Dorota, settling in Stamford, CT. Helena enriched the lives of many through her lively disposition, great sense of humor, and unwavering love, and dedication to family and friends. Helena leaves behind a legacy of love and gratitude. Cherished by her two adult children, Pawel and Dorota, her daughter-in-law Aleksandra, and her son-in-law Krzysztof. She was an adoring grandmother to her six grandchildren: Patrycja, Christine, Cyprian, David, Marcella, and Szymon. Throughout her life, Helena's passion for education shone brightly. For two decades, she imparted her knowledge as a dedicated geography teacher in the elementary school of Kęty, Poland. Later, she continued her teaching journey at the Polish Saturday School in Stamford, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of her now grown-up students. Helena also found great fulfillment in her role as a nanny and caretaker. She embraced every opportunity to guide those in her community, leaving a lasting warm connection with all who crossed her path. In her golden years, Helena embraced adventure with open arms, discovering joy in the thrill of new destinations, the serene beauty of local beaches, and the warm embrace of laughter with friends and family. Her passion for dance and her presence, brimming with vitality, brought light to every gathering she graced. A voracious reader with a deep devotion to her Catholic faith, Helena found both solace and strength in her spiritual practices, particularly in her worship at Stamford's Holy Name of Jesus Polish church. Her life, rich in experiences and guided by faith, was a testament to a soul truly lived. Helena will be remembered as a caring and loving mother and grandmother, whose unconditional love knew no bounds. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Though Helena may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories she created and the lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. We warmly invite you to join us in paying final respects and celebrating the life of Helena. A visitation will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT, providing a moment to reflect and remember. The following day, Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10 am, we will gather for a service at Holy Name of Jesus Church in 325 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT, to honor her memory. The service will be followed by a burial at Woodland Cemetery, in Stamford, CT. Afterwards, we welcome you to join us in the lower level of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church for a reception to celebrate Helena’s life, share stories, and cherish the memories we hold dear. W wieku 44 lat, odważnie wyemigrowała do Stanów Zjednoczonych z mężem Franciszkiem i dziećmi Pawłem i Dorotą, osiedlając się w Stamford, CT. Helena wzbogaciła życie wielu ludzi radosnym usposobieniem, wspaniałym poczuciem humoru, niezachwianą miłością i oddaniem rodzinie i przyjaciołom. Przez dwie dekady przekazywała swoją wiedzę jako nauczycielka geografii w szkole podstawowej w Kętach. Później kontynuowała pracę pedagogiczną jako nauczyciel w Polskiej Szkole Sobotniej w Stamford. Helena starała się przy każdej okazji, aby prowadzić innych i budować trwałe więzi z tymi, którzy stanęli na ścieżce jej życia. W swoich złotych latach z otwartością radowała się z podróży i przygód w nowych miejscach. Korzystała z codziennych spacerów lokalnymi plażami i przebywania w ciepłym gronie przyjaciół i rodziny. Kochała taniec, sztukę i lubowała się w dobrej lekturze. Jej osobowość była pełna życia.. Była osobą głęboko wierzącą. Znajdywała zarówno ukojenie, jak i siłę w swoich praktykach duchowych, zwłaszcza w modlitwie w polskim kościele Holy Name of Jesus w Stamford. Jej życie, bogate w doświadczenia i prowadzone w wierze i miłości, było świadectwem duszy, która żyła prawdziwie. Helena będzie wspominana jako troskliwa i kochająca matka i babcia. Jej pamięć będzie na zawsze żyć w sercach tych, którzy mieli szczęście ją poznać. Chociaż nasza mama Helena już nie będzie szła obok nas, jej duch będzie nadal świecił jasno poprzez wspomnienia, które stworzyła i życia, których dotknęła. Następnego dnia, w piątek, 23 lutego 2024 roku, o godzinie 10 rano, spotkamy się na Mszy żałobnej w kościele Holy Name of Jesus w Stamford, CT, aby uczcić jej pamięć. Po nabożeństwie nastąpi pochowanie prochów na cmentarzu Woodland. Następnie zapraszamy do dołączenia do nas w sali bankietowej pod kościołem Holy Name of Jesus, aby uczcić pamięć Heleny, podzielić się historiami i uszanować te wspomnienia, które nam pozostawiła.
