Louicilia Augustin

Louicilia Augustin, 87, died at 4:00 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Stamford Hospital in Stamford CT. She was born on April 14, 1934, in Grand Bois, Haiti to the late Charles Augustin and Exumene Charleron. Louicilia had two brothers and two sisters Mesius Augustin, André Augustin, Claire Augustin, and Julia Augustin. She married Jean Mondesir, later divorced, and remained Great friends. Also surviving are her former husband Jean Mondesir, her cousins Andrea Sanon, Lucienne Joseph, her nephew Serius Augustin, Maxo Joseph, Sorel Augustin, Emmanuel Jean Baptiste her nieces Louisina Augustin, Micaelle Charles, Micheline Jean Baptiste, Mirlène Exantus and Marie Michelle Pierre. She has one daughter Judith Doreste, two sons Yves Francklin Mondesir, and Gabriel Mondesir. Son-In-Law Emmanuel Widz Marc Doreste, Daughter in-laws Myrline Mondesir and Johane Mondesir. Five grandsons: Yves Edouard Mondesir, Julian Doreste, Marc-Elie Mondesir, Brendan Isaiah Mondesir, Jonathan Elijah Mondesir. Three granddaughters Briyana Noelle Mondesir, Ayana Doreste, and Gabriella Mondesir. Two Stepsons: Narcisse Mondesir, Sachiel Mondesir. Stepdaughter Celia Martha Mondesir. Good friends Jacqueline Mondesir, Hermane St. Fleur, Alyson Gustave, Denise Domond, Marie Carmelle Maxi, and Gerard Maxi. In addition to her parents, Louicilia also predeceased her siblings. My mother loved to cook, attended church. She enjoyed raising her grandchildren and loved them dearly. She is appreciated by everyone because of her kindness and integrity. Family welcomes all relatives and friends on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 8:30pm to 10:30pm at the Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated by Reverend Frantz Desruisseaux, and celebrated at 8:30am on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Saint Gabriel Church, 914 Newfield Ave., Stamford CT. Her interment will follow at St. John Cemetery 223 Richards Ave, Norwalk CT. 06850 For the safety of all those attending her funeral services, please wear face coverings and maintain social distancing.
