Marie Paulina Faubert

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Paulina Faubert Myrdas, a devoted mother, virtuous wife, cherished grandmother, loving sister, and loyal friend, who peacefully entered eternal rest on May 13, 2026. Paulina was born on October 1, 1955, in Grand-Goâve, Haiti. She lived a life rooted in faith, love, service, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. On August 9, 1980, she married the love of her life, Jean Noel Faubert. After he relocated to the United States, he later brought his wife and their children to join him, and she had proudly called Stamford, Connecticut home since March 1995. Paulina was a hardworking and a very determined woman whose journey reflected resilience and compassion. She began her working years in hospitality as a housekeeper; she worked at the Johnson & Johnson Hotel and the Sheraton Hotel before pursuing a career in healthcare. She worked at Sunrise Senior Living, provided per-diem care through Stella Homecare, and later earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certification. She worked at Waveny Lifecare Network until December 2024. She was a devoted CNA, a dependable employee, and a source of comfort. She was known affectionately as “Manman Paulina,” Above all, Paulina was a woman of extraordinary faith who was a fervent servant of the Lord. For decades, she was an active and a beloved member of French Speaking Bethany Free Methodist Church. She loved worship, especially singing praises unto the Lord. She was a remarkable cook whose meals brought people together and she had a gift for storytelling that could fill any room with laughter and warmth. She was truly the life of the party. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gedina Fleuriat; her father, Joubert Myrdas; her twin sister; and her one and only brother Medalis Myrdas. Paulina leaves behind to cherish her precious memory her beloved husband, Jean Noel Faubert; her children, Epauline Faubert-Abdel-Wahab (Amir Abdel-Wahab), Elza Augustin (Jerry Augustin), Myriam Faubert, and Moise Faubert (Emmanuelle Faubert); and her beloved niece, Christella Ludger. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Renee Abdel-Wahab, Bella Abdel-Wahab, Alexander Abdel-Wahab, Brianna Neveah Augustin, Noah Augustin, Jeremiah Augustin, Leah Augustin, Destin Ethan Adams, and Hannah Joy Faubert. She is further survived by her loving sisters, Alourde Leone, Yvonne Myrdas, Marie Medelia Patrick- Myrdas, Erdmaz Registe Myrdas, Marie Gladie Myrdas and Antonine Myrdas, along with many nieces, nephews and extended relatives. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all relatives, loved ones, friends, and members of the community for their prayers, support, kindness, and acts of love during this difficult time. Paulina fought the good fight; she finished the race and kept the faith. Now there is in store for her the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, has prepared for her. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd from 4pm to 8pm at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 23rd at 9am at French Speaking Bethany Free Methodist Church, 145 Lawn Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Avenue, Darien, CT.
