Vasilios Seitaridis

Vasilios Seitaridis, 71, resident of Stamford, passed away at Stamford Hospital on the morning of Wednesday, May 20th with his loving family at his side. He was born in Greece on October 8, 1943 and was the son of the late Thomas and Anastasia (Kazantzidis) Seitaridis. Vasilios was a kind, generous person who was loved by all who knew him. He cherished time spent with his wife, family and friends. At the time of his passing he was retired from Pitney Bowes where he worked as a machine operator for many years. He enjoyed fishing, many fun trips to the casino with his friends and watching many hours of sports. He was a devoted husband and father who would do anything for them. He was loved by many and will be remembered by them for his generous heart and loving nature. Vasilios is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Christina (Christoglou) Seitaridis, his three children: Anastasia Seitaridis, Thomas Seitaridis and his wife Soula and Mina (Seitaridis) Luongo and her husband Philip, and his grandchildren who he adored: Vasili, Christina, Antonio, Dimitri and Giuliana. He is also survived by his brother in Greece, Pantelis Seitaridis and his wife Nitsa, his sister Dina and husband Dimitrios, as well as uncles, aunts, cousins and many nieces and nephews. The Seitaridis family will receive the condolences of family and friends TODAY, Friday, May 22nd from 4pm to 8pm, with a Trisagion service beginning at 7:30pm, at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, CT. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 23rd at 10 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 1230 Newfield Avenue, in Stamford. Rev. Father Evan Evangelidis will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at Woodland Cemetery, 66 Woodland Place, in Stamford.
