Everyone loved Beryl; as soon as you met her, you were captivated by her beauty and love. She loved her family and friends and to Beryl friends were family. She had an open heart and would often open her home family and friends for short and extended stays. Everyone wanted to be in her presence and especially enjoyed her cooking and her well-known roast pork. She loved music, doo-wop’s and of course reggae, where she sang with one of her longtime best friends Phyllis Dillion who was a popular reggae artist. Always the life of the party and known as the one to call for career and/or personal connections. Beryl was also well traveled and lived in England for many years. Her grandson Ray Robert Gable III was her heart and her daughter her most trusted confidant. Educated in Jamaica and America, she worked for many years as and real estate listing agent and office manager for CB Richard Ellis and Massey Knakal Realty. A devout born-again Christian a longtime member of Assembly of God in Hempstead, NY under the leadership of Pastor Richard Brockaway and she would often fellowship with her daughter Karyn aka Monique at Highland Church under the leadership of Subash Cherian in Jamaica, NY.
