Carol Ann Parisi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Parisi, Carol Ann Fitzsimmons, passed away September 30, 2020, in New Canaan, CT. Carol was born in the Bronx, September 7th, 1943. During grammar school she moved to New Jersey and graduated from Teaneck High School in 1961. Following high school, she went to Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School and immediately went to work as an Executive Assistant to the President of CBS. One summer night at the Jersey Shore she met her husband Joseph Vincent Parisi (deceased,) and they married February 12th, 1965. In 1970, she left a thriving career to raise their four children; Joseph, Courtney, Matthew and James. Carol is best known for her dedication to her family. Widowed at the age of 52, she was the rock of the family. She always gave great advice when asked and somehow over a cup of coffee, made everything right and made everyone feel at home. Her most favorite times were spent raising her children, with her husband Joe. A devoted grandmother, Carol loved spending time with and cheering in the stands for her grandchildren. She will be remembered and loved by her children, Joseph Parisi, Courtney Graeber, Matthew Parisi and James Parisi their spouses Hallett, David, Alexis and Jesse; her grandchildren, Trey and Paige Parisi, Stuart and Luke Graeber, Bianca Parisi and grand-pup Margot; and her beloved sister, Alexis Fitzsimmons Totaro. Funeral arrangements will be private due to COVID. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate to her favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital In honor of Carol Ann Parisi.
