James M. Muccio, age 71, a Stamford resident for 47 years died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at home with his loving wife Carol Blair Muccio by his side. Born in Greenwich, CT on October 30, 1945, he was the son of the late Benjamin John Muccio and Mary Cameron Muccio. He was predeceased by his brothers John and William Muccio. Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years Carol Blair Muccio of Stamford, CT; a sister, Nancy Muccio Roth of Albuquerque, NM; his sister in laws, Elaine Ferretti of Stamford, CT and Linda Muccio of Greenwich, CT; his nephews and nieces, Christopher Muccio of Cos Cob, CT, Gregory Roth and Jessica Roth of Albuquerque, NM, Elaine Marrero of Old Greenwich, CT, and Donna Muccio of Norwalk, CT; and by several great-nieces. Jim attended Greenwich High School, graduating in 1963. He then received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marymount College of Fordham University and worked as an accountant at various companies until his retirement. Jim loved being with family and friends especially during holidays where they shared a good meal and many good times and laughs. Jim’s love for his dogs was beyond words having had six dogs in 47 years. As per Jim’s request, there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 3rd at St. Leo’s Parish, 24 Roxbury Road, in Stamford, CT. His interment will be held private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of James M. Muccio’s in honor of his nephew, Jordan Jallouk, to Stamford Education 4 Autism, 1127 High Ridge Rd., PMB #315, Stamford, CT 06905.
