John Boshka Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John (Jack) Boshka III passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 25, 2022. He was predeceased by his mother Patrica Dooley Boshka. Born in Stamford in 1960, he was the much beloved son of John Boshka, Jr., brother of Karen Boshka and Kim Green (Steven), uncle of Larissa Green Perez (Norberto) and Trevor Green. He was also loved by his fiancé Mareena Apostolos and their German shepherd Sampson. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered with a smile on his face by all. Jack worked for Federal Express for many years before pursuing other ventures. An avid sports fan, he was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and an excellent softball player. He cherished the years he spent on softball leagues, playing in many winning local tournaments as well as several regional tournaments and being voted most valuable player twice. Jack believed in finding the humor and joy in life and helping others, especially taking the time on many occasions to help strangers in need. To honor his memory we ask, as he would have, that you smile and laugh often and be kind and helpful to others. Jack’s fervent desire was that prevention and a cure for Lyme Disease be developed.
