Joseph J. Gallichio

March 3, 1949 - October 13, 2021

Joseph J. Gallichio of Danbury, Connecticut, passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 72. He was born in Stamford, Connecticut on March 3, 1949. He was the loving son of the late Daniel Vito and Elizabeth (Viehbrook) Gallichio. Joseph is survived by his sister Deborah (Keith) Stadler, a brother Richard (Lisa) Gallichio and by a sister-in-law Carol. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Mary Ella Clark, Dawn Bria, Daniel Gallichio Jr., Keith Stadler, Jr., Tiffany Kritharakis, Jason Stadler, Michael Stadler, Kelly Repole and Christian Gallichio and by several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Ella Gallichio, brother Daniel Gallichio, sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Daniel Devarti, niece Deborah Gilronan and by a nephew Nicholas Kritharakis. Joe was retired after working in the electrical field for 30 years. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Saint Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place in Norwalk, Connecticut. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, Connecticut. Local regulations require all attending to wear face masks.
