Louissaint Louis

August 31, 1949 - January 1, 2017

Louissaint Louis, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend, peacefully passed away at Norwalk Hospital on Sunday, January 1, 2017. Louissaint was born in Clercine, Haiti on August 31, 1949, and was one of six children born to the late Dulica Sanite and Joseph Louissaint Louis. Louissaint was 67 years old at the time of his passing. Louissaint enjoyed spending time at church. At Schilo French Seventh-Day Adventist Church, he served as a Deacon for most of his life. He was an inspiration and father figure to the kids in the church. Most of all, Louissant enjoyed the time spent with his family. He has six children of his own and happily married for 39 years. He worked hard to support his family and took pride in everything that he did. In his past time, Louissaint loved listening to his favorite Christian station on the radio, playing dominoes and traveling. Louissaint is known for his great storytelling and giving great advice to his friends and family. Life only got better in 2005 when he became a grandfather for the first time; with six more grandkids that followed. Louissaint had much to be thankful for with a life full of family and friends that loved him deeply. He will truly be missed. Louissaint is survived by his wife, Marie L’edrenne Louis of Norwalk, CT; Children Natacha LaFleur and husband Pierre LaFleur of Stratford CT; Sam Louis and wife Sabine C Louis of Norwalk, CT; Jean Louis and wife Talibah Louis of Naugatuck, CT; Even Louis of Norwalk, CT; James Louis of Jewett City, CT, and Steven Louis of Norwalk, CT, Sisters; Marie Anite Louis, Marie Eugenise Louis, Marie Ange Louis, Marie Annette Louis, Brother Clemat Louis, Grandkids; Shanya Louis, Ryan LaFleur, Josiah Louis, Shanelle Louis, Joleigh Louis, Tyler LaFleur, Shantelle Louis.
