Inder Paul Malhotra

Inder Paul Malhotra, a loving husband, father, brother, friend, and longtime resident of Stamford, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 after living with pancreatic cancer since October 2015. Paul fought his illness with courage, grace, selflessness and dignity, even working up until his last few days. He was born in India on October 12, 1961, and was one of five children born to the late Dharm Vir Malhotra and Bimla Malhotra. Paul worked as the Bakery District Supervisor for Grade A Market stores of Fairfield County for over 30 years. He loved his work and it showed in his passion for making beautiful pastries and cakes; caring so much for his employees, coworkers, and customers. For Paul, working for the Cingari family all these years has been a joy and an honor. Paul loved to make other people happy and enjoy life. He would always joke around, host and cook dinner for his friends and family, was a great dancer, and was always there to offer support and help to anyone that needed him. He inspired many with his happy, love of life attitude, and always, with his signature smile and glimmer in his eye. Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Ana Cecilia Malhotra (Ruiz); his children: Sarah, Jessica and Michael; his mother, Bimla; his mother-in-law, Vilma; his siblings: Chanchal, Ravinder, Love, Kush and their spouses respectively: Ramsaran, Renu, Monica and Neelam; all of his wonderful nieces and nephews; his dear friends: Al, Karen, and Leonor; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Paul will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. Paul’s family will be receiving sympathy and condolences from family and friends on Sunday, July 23, 2017, from 1pm to 6pm, at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. Paul’s funeral service will take place the following morning, Monday, July 24th, also at Bosak. Guests may arrive at 9am. Prayer service will begin at 9:30am and Hindu service at 10:30am. The interment will be private. The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue in Stamford, CT.
