It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jhoseline Nelson, who left us on September 29, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. Jhoseline was born on September 3, 1982 and grew up in Port Chester, NY. From her earliest days, she was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and generous spirit for those she cherished. Her radiant smile and laughter could light up any room, bringing joy to everyone she encountered. Jhoseline met the love of her life and devoted husband, Raney Nelson Jr. in 2004 and married in 2007. When they made the decision to start a family, Jhoseline made the decision to leave her career in the Orthodontics field and devote her life to raising her children. Jhoseline built a nurturing home filled with laughter, kindness, and countless cherished memories. As a proud mother to her three children—Raney III (13), Landon (11), and Peyton (6)—she filled their lives with love and encouragement, always celebrating their achievements and comforting them in times of need. Her children were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. With her kids always in mind, she was part of the PTO board at TECEC. Jhoseline’s passion for family extended beyond her immediate loved ones. She was a dedicated daughter and sister, always ready to lend a hand or offer words of encouragement to her siblings and her mother. Her home was a gathering place for family celebrations, where delicious recipes and laughter created lasting memories. Whether hosting holidays or simply sharing a meal, Jhoseline had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Jhoseline will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 17 years, Raney Nelson Jr., her oldest son, Raney Nelson III (13), middle son - Landon Nelson (11), youngest son - Peyton Nelson (6). Jhoseline is also survived by her mother, Lourdes Montenegro, and her brothers, Raul Pinto (Diana), Ivan Abrego (Mari), George Abrego, and a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins. A celebration of Jhoseline’s life will be held on Sunday, October 13th at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT. Family welcomes relatives and friends for a visitation from 2pm to 5pm, and a prayer service at 5pm; followed by a repass filled with love and remembrance. Jhoseline’s legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering strength will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit continues to inspire us all to cherish the ones we love and hold them close.
