With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Segundo Jose Reinoso Almeida, who entered into eternal rest on June 26, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on March 20, 1940, in Quito, Ecuador, Segundo lived a life defined by faith, humility, hard work, and unconditional love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Segundo was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eulalia R. Castellano de Reinoso, who passed away on May 11, 2022. Their love and devotion to one another remained an enduring example to their family. He leaves behind his loving children, Jenny A. Reinoso, Saida K. Reinoso and Marco V. Reinoso. He is also lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law, Maria A. Mallozzi. Segundo’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his beloved grandsons, Marco Antonio Reinoso and Matteo Giovanni Reinoso. His grandsons were truly the light of his life and the center of his world. Nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with them. Whether he was cheering them on at their soccer and lacrosse practices, proudly sitting in the stands at their games, attending their activities, or simply enjoying everyday moments together, Segundo treasured every second he spent with them. He celebrated their accomplishments, encouraged them with pride, and created memories they will carry with them forever. His love for them was immeasurable, and they will always remember the unwavering support, warmth, and joy he brought into their lives. Segundo was the beloved son of Jose Antonio Reinoso and Mariana del Espíritu Almeida Apolinario. He is survived by his loving sisters, Ana, Carmen, Rosa, and Magdalena, and was preceded in death by his siblings, Clara and Juan de Dios. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his love, generosity, and guidance. Segundo will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and deep love for his family. He had a gentle spirit, a warm smile, and a way of making everyone around him feel welcome and cared for. His greatest legacy is the love he shared so freely and the values he instilled in those who knew him. Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that he is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved wife. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and his legacy of love, faith, and family will continue for generations to come. Forever Loved. Forever Remembered.
